How do we tip the scales to favor a future where intellect and compassion outweigh aggression? The answer lies in what we choose to load.”

Did you know that the average human brain weighs about 3 pounds and possesses the power to solve complex problems, create art, and build communities? Yet, we live in a world where some choose to place more value on a gun, an object far lighter but with the potential to destroy so much of what we hold dear. In my last speech to the youth, I emphasized a crucial misstep: we’re loading the wrong ammunition. Our focus should not be on weapons that harm but on knowledge and empathy that heal and empower.

This isn’t just a rhetorical question; it’s a call for educational leaders and educators. Our collective effort can steer our youth towards loading their minds with invaluable wisdom, rather than gravitating towards destructive paths.
